The Lovie Awards Winners’ Party 2012
To celebrate the best of the European internet, The Lovie Awards hosted an invitation-only Winner’s Party at St. Luke’s 18th-century Grade 1 listed Hawksmoor church, located on London's Old Street, in the heart of London's internet scene.

Winners, judges and special guests had the opportunity to get to know one another at the pre-show cocktail hour. The show included presentations of Lovie Person of the Year to Stephen Fry, Lifetime achievement award to Professor Heinz Gerhauser for leading the team who invented the MP3 and our European special recognition awards, followed by an exclusive live performance from Chad Valley.
Photobooth
As well as an open-bar and delicious gourmet hors d’oeuvre, one of the best features of the night was a photobooth set-up for groups of winners, colleagues and new contacts to capture those special moments, and take away a souvenir from the night!
Declarations of Lovie
The trademark of The Webby Awards - the sister-award to the Lovies - has been its famous a 5-word acceptance speech. Expanding on that tradition, The Lovie Awards asked all Gold, Silver and Bronze winners at the Winner’s Party to make a "Declaration of Lovie," a unique 5-second award speech that MUST include the word "Love".

To celebrate the best of the European internet, The Lovie Awards hosted an invitation-only Winner’s Party at St. Luke’s 18th-century Grade 1 listed Hawksmoor church, located on London's Old Street, in the heart of London's internet scene.

Party guests were up-close and personal, networking with fellow guests, Lovie winners and special achievement honourees at a pre-show cocktail soiree. The show included presentations of special achievement and recognition awards, followed by exclusive live performances from two of the most critically acclaimed new electronic musicians in Europe.
