Moët Hennessy Snags Inaugural Collaboration of the Year Award
With the launch of our 13th season, we embraced a fresh look and a renewed mission: to celebrate excellence across culture, technology and business. What we noticed was driving talent across the European Internet was collaborations across brands, publishers, cultural institutions, creative studios, and beyond.
To toast this moment, we introduced the inaugural Collaboration of the Year Award during this 14th annual Lovies season—leading us to discover one of the most unique alliances across the region’s digital space.
Selected by Lovie Jurors in the prestigious International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), the Collaboration of the Year Award recognises groundbreaking work revolutionising how the Internet is wielded to tell a story.
The inaugural recipients of the Lovie Collaboration of the Year Award are Swipe Back and Moët Hennesy. We’re thrilled to honour their partnership for their unique use of artificial intelligence to create a personalised, interactive experience that demystifies wine for any beginner.
At the heart of the winning project is Divine, an AI-powered wine sommelier. This virtual expert offers wine buyers a highly interactive experience, allowing them to ask questions in real-time and receive tailored wine recommendations based on their tastes, preferences, personalities, and even moods.
The project makes the often intimidating world of wine selection accessible, opening up gatekept language for consumers to understand the nuances of choosing their perfect bottle.
In addition to winning the Collaboration of the Year Award, the project also snagged a number of honours at the 2024 Lovie Awards, including three Gold Lovies and one Silver Lovie Award.
It’s a testament to the incredible creativity and artistic direction that can be channelled into AI to not only help consumers learn the story behind a brand but also connect a legacy brand deeper to the digital age. Swipe Back and Moët Hennessy showcase what’s possible when powerhouse brands blend digital innovation with luxury.
