5 signs that your coil needs replacing

For the maintenance of your vaping device, regular checks and replacements are crucial to ensure its longevity and optimal performance. Coils, made up of wire (or mesh) and wick material, are responsible for heating the e-liquid to create rich, flavorful clouds.

So when should you replace the coil? It varies based on factors like device type, heat levels, e-liquid used, and frequency of vaping. While specifics differ for each user, there are common signs indicating the need for coil replacement.

1. Burnt Taste

A noticeable burnt taste in your vape signals the need for a coil change.

2. Bubbling Noise

A hollow bubbling sound during device use indicates an urgent need to replace the coil, even for meshed coils and pods.

3. Weak Flavour

If the flavor is muted compared to what you’re familiar with, it’s time for a new coil.

4. Little Vapor

Diminished cloud production suggests the coil is worn out and requires replacement. However, check your battery level before concluding as it can affect vapor production.
