What is a CE4 Clearomizer?

The CE4 Clearomizer stands out as one of the easiest vape tanks to use. Though these vape tanks may be considered somewhat outdated, their straightforward design continues to attract many users. Featuring a plastic refillable tank that houses an integrated coil, these clearomizers use cotton wicks to absorb the e-liquid contained within. While they are primarily intended for ego-type vape devices, their ‘510’ connection allows compatibility with other devices that have the same connection.

Designed for disposability, these clearomizers can be discarded when the vapor flavor starts to diminish, allowing for a quick replacement with a fresh unit.

How Long Does a CE4 Clearomizer Last?

Typically, a CE4 Clearomizer can last around two to three weeks. However, the actual lifespan may vary based on your vaping frequency and the type of e-liquid you choose to use.

Continue reading for tips on maximizing the lifespan of your clearomizers.

How to Make a CE4 Clearomizer Last Longer

Priming Your Clearomizer

Regardless of the type of tank you have, priming the coil is essential before use. This process involves allowing adequate time for the vape juice in your tank to saturate the wicking material. Vaping too quickly after a refill can leave the cotton (or ceramic, depending on the coil type) dry, leading to a burnt taste.

To properly prime, fill the tank of your new clearomizer and then allow it to sit for a minimum of 10 minutes before you begin vaping.

Cleaning Your Clearomizer

Cleaning your clearomizer can often extend its lifespan. Additionally, you might want to clean it if you are switching to a new vape juice flavor to prevent any residual taste from the previous e-liquid.

To clean, detach the clearomizer from the battery and unscrew the mouthpiece, ensuring to keep the rubber seal stored safely. Add a few drops of warm (not boiling) water into the tank, seal the opening with your finger and shake the device gently several times to swish the water around before pouring it out. Repeat this process a few times as needed.

It’s recommended to clean your clearomizer only if you have another available or you don’t require it immediately, as it should be left to dry for at least 24 hours. Position it upside-down on tissue paper to allow any residual water to drain out. If the clearomizer remains damp, vaping may be difficult since water doesn’t vaporize as efficiently as e-liquid.

After cleaning, consider storing your clearomizer overnight in a sealed container filled with rice. The rice will help absorb moisture and expedite the drying process.
