The screen has seen a significant upgrade over the past 4 years, now boasting a bright, clear display. The revised user interface is visually pleasing, and navigating the menu is efficient and trouble-free. The introduction of color brings a vibrant touch to the overall look.

The 510 connection feels robust, and the USB-C port showcases exceptional build quality. Eleaf has certainly implemented some thoughtful consumer-friendly enhancements to this device.

With a design akin to others available in the market, notably the VOOPOO DRAG X, the GTL Pod Tank introduces a distinctive feature. Adjusting the airflow is simply accomplished by rotating the pod, making operations more user-friendly.

Available in five colors, I chose the black version, which I believe stands out with the most style!

Clearly, the iStick Power 2 is an elegantly designed device, and it’s aware of its appeal.

Functionality

The GTL Pod Tank includes coils with resistances of 0.8ohm and 1.2ohm. While this may not max out the capabilities of the iStick Power 2, I don’t believe Eleaf intended for it to. I decided to start with the 0.8ohm coil, as I’m a fan of lower resistance options.

Setting up and priming the coil was straightforward, and everything felt secure, which is reassuring. What caught me off guard was the remarkably clean flavor. The 0.8ohm coil isn’t designed for massive clouds, but the MyVapors Blackcurrant I used delivered an exquisitely layered taste. The juicy blackcurrant notes along with a pleasant sweet exhale were quite impressive.

The performance of the 1.2ohm coil didn’t fully meet my expectations, perhaps due to my choice of 3mg liquid. While the flavor itself didn’t differ much, I’d recommend using a higher nicotine strength or nic salts with this coil.

As for the iStick Power 2, the Avatar chipset truly enhances the experience, offering fast coil activation and SMART mode for inexperienced users. Adjusting the wattage, even in small increments, noticeably affected the vaping experience, allowing for fine-tuning.

I was curious about how the device performed at higher wattages, so I paired it with one of my preferred tanks. At 60W, the device functioned flawlessly, and I was amazed at the smoothness of the overall user experience. Although I’m accustomed to advanced chips in other models, the Avatar chipset demonstrated comparable capabilities.

On a full charge, the device lasts throughout the day with some battery left. By using it at a lower wattage alongside the GTL Pod Tank, you might even experience up to 3 days of use before needing to recharge, depending on your usage habits!

In summary, the performance of the Eleaf iStick Power 2 was exceptional; I appreciated the flavour, the Avatar chip, and the stunning colour display.
