The Touch: A Blend of Simplicity and Features

The new addition to GeekVape’s Aegis series, the T200 Aegis Touch, is a dual 18650 mod capable of delivering 200 watts. Its design is reminiscent of other Aegis models like the L200 and Solo 2, but with a unique touch. The ‘T’ in T200 signifies ‘touch’, and the mod boasts a large 2.4-inch touch screen. Let’s skip the discussion on the Zeus tank since we’ve covered it in previous reviews. The tank excels in vapor production, especially with lower resistance coils, offering consistent flavor thanks to the mesh. In the box, you’ll find a 0.15ohm (70-85w) coil pre-installed and a 0.4ohm (50-60w) as a spare. While the coil removal can be tricky, a helpful tool is included. The top airflow control on the tank helps prevent leakage. I used the 0.4ohm coil at 50 watts with Zeus Juice Death By Bunny e-liquid for a fitting combination.

The mod delivers impressive performance. Despite concerns about battery life with the touch screen, it proved to be efficient, offering comparable battery life to my ARGUS GT 2. The touch screen is responsive, with intuitive swipe gestures for navigation. Though not as quick as a smartphone, the touch responsiveness is commendable for an e-cig. The only momentary lag occurs when adjusting the wattage settings.

Unlocking the touch screen is as simple as swiping along the bottom. Horizontal swipes bring up the menu where you can access various settings and features. The device offers multiple firing modes, including power, smart mode, and temperature control. I prefer using smart mode to prevent accidental coil firing at high wattages.

Ease of Use

Extremely easy to navigate, since the mod is controlled solely through the touch screen, making it a breeze to operate. The responsiveness of swiping is remarkable and seamless. Moreover, the mod features USB-C fast charge capability to quickly recharge your battery. It’s always recommended to charge removable batteries using an external charger. Mastering the controls took just a few hours due to its user-friendly interface.

The tank comes with convenient push-fit coils and a simple twist-off top fill system.

Price

Priced at a very reasonable £64.49, the GeekVape T200 Aegis Touch pleasantly surprised me. With its advanced touch screen and the latest 2021 Zeus tank, I initially expected a much higher price tag.

The kit requires 2x 18650 batteries, which are available at £8.99 for a 2600mAh option or £10.99 for a 3000mAh variant.

Additionally, the Z coils can be purchased at £10.99 for a pack of 5, which is quite affordable.

Target Audience

This kit is specifically designed for DL vapers. The coils support wattages ranging from around 50w to 85w, depending on the specific coils you choose. While 85 watts might not be as high as some DL vapers prefer, it still delivers ample vapor production.

I was pleasantly surprised by this kit. Previous experiences with touch screen e-cigs left much to be desired, but this kit performs exceptionally well. It not only responds effectively but also provides an outstanding vaping experience. The touch screen and display greatly enhance the overall enjoyment of vaping. The device’s sleek and stylish appearance, combined with its comfortable grip, makes it a standout. If the tank had a bit less airflow and allowed for custom themes and wallpapers, it would have scored a perfect 10.
