In addition to Han Solo, Ford is also cherished for his portrayal of Indiana Jones. He first brought Indiana Jones to life in 1981 with Raiders of the Lost Ark, followed by the second film, Temple of Doom, in 1984. The third movie, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, premiered in 1989. Real Estate

In 1983, Harrison purchased a large home in LA’s Brentwood neighborhood for $1 million. He later sold this gated estate, situated on 3/4 acres, in 2012 for $8.2 million. In 2011, Harrison and Calista acquired another residence in Brentwood for $12.6 million, which has since become their primary home in LA. Property records indicate that Ford owns at least three more homes in LA, which are more modest and serve as either investments or accommodations for family members.

In 2001, he spent $5.3 million on a penthouse in NYC’s Flatiron District. Though he listed the property for $16 million in 2010, he ultimately decided to take it off the market. This penthouse spans 5,500 square feet and includes four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Notable features include an elevator, 11 rooms, a modern kitchen, a gym, an office, a library, and a state-of-the-art security system. The floors consist of anigre wood and poured concrete, with radiant heating throughout. A 2,300-square-foot private rooftop terrace sits at the top, offering a wet bar and stunning views of Manhattan and the Hudson River.

In Wyoming, Ford owns 800 acres of ranchland along the Snake River close to Jackson. He has committed half of this property to serve as a nature reserve.

Private Planes

Harrison is known to be an avid aviation enthusiast and pilot. The term “notorious” is fitting, as he has experienced several incidents over the years, including a crash landing on a golf course in LA and a risky landing on a takeoff runway in Orange County.
