Highlights from The 4th Annual Lovie Awards

The 4th Annual Lovie Awards was an amazing night to remember celebrating Europe’s best and brightest minds in technology.
Our star-studded awards ceremony was hosted by comedian Mark Dolan and featured Special Achievement Award Winners Sigur Rós, Sophie Wilson, Jamie Oliver, Dan Howell, Edwin Broni-Mensah and The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. These are highlights from the big night.
Jamie Oliver accepted the Lovie Person of the Year award for his innovative YouTube channel Food Tube.
Sigur Ròs collected their Lovie Artist of the Year award from Jonathan Ross, for keeping their fans engaged online and delivering content in new and forward-thinking ways with #Stormur.

Internet sensation Dan Howell (danisnotonfire) delivered his speech as the inaugural Lovie Internet Video Person of the Year, in recognition of his YouTube channel.
Our first ever Lovie Emerging Entrepreneur Award went to Edwin Broni-Mensah, Founder of GiveMeTap. Starting from his dorm room at university, Edwin has already helped over 10,000 people throughout Africa get access to clean water, via 500+ cafes in its network in 114 cities worldwide.
Sophie Wilson collected her Lovie Lifetime Achievement Award in front of an audience in awe. Her ARM processor powers almost every smartphone on the planet. Michael Stevens, (VSauce) presented the award.
