In this article, we’ll delve into coils, one of the essential yet simplest components in any vaping setup! Coils, often called atomisers, are the part of your vaping device responsible for generating vapour. They consist of three main parts: the heating element, the wicking material, and the casing. The casing holds all components together and facilitates easy installation in your tank or pod. Typically made of organic cotton, the wicking material draws in e-liquid and supplies it to the heating element. The heating component, commonly known as the coil, is crafted from resistance wire, formed either into a traditional coil or made from strips of resistance mesh, referred to as a mesh coil. Upon pressing the power button on your vape and inhaling, the coil heats up, causing the vaporized e-liquid to blend with air, resulting in vapour. The heat induces more e-liquid to flow into the coil from the wicking material, which concurrently draws additional e-liquid from your tank or pod.
